Very nice keysounds! Fits the guitar very well, although I think it makes the parts without them stand out a bit too much because their hs focus most on drums otherwise, making them feel a bit empty. oh i did not expect the jp voice as hs LOL 01:27:134 - cool section Patterning is generally solid, like other entries for this song I think this kinda style works well for it. Not too sure about some of the rhythm choices used, there are some points where the guitar goes hard but is basically completely ignored which I thought was a bit disappointing. Pretty cool entry otherwise!

I really like how the patterning in this entry feels chaotic but organized and thought out at the same time. I especially love the way 40-55% was implemented with the rhythms and object positioning. I enjoy the way combo coloring was used as well, with each color having its own intensity in gameplay and also its own visual style. The hitsounding is great too. The longer I spend analyzing this map, the more I appreciate how it was made. I really do not have anything negative to say about this entry other than personal preference on some slider designs.

This entry takes several approaches to mapping certain sections that make each part feel different but also sometimes hard to predict. The section at 00:39:035 stands out by shifting the emphasis to the unique melody of the guitar through rhythm and slider design while also being complemented nicely by the keysounding. However, there are also sections like 00:21:060 / 00:28:994 / 02:06:680 / 02:14:614 where the song is identical but the mapping and rhythm choice is drastically different, as if the map can't decide how it wants to approach the song.

This entry lacks a bit with the structure as it feels too messy without having unique flow to back it up, I also feel that the climax sections 00:34:945 (1) - fall flat as it just doesnt really build upon the idea of the part before it, 00:37:920 (1,1,1,1,1) - this specifically is a letdown as it feels way too simple, some of the 1/1 repeats like 00:50:936 (1) - have zero intensity for how crazy the guitar is. Its a big letdown to have the chorus here 02:06:687 have essentially zero changes from the part at the beginning 00:21:060 (1) - as it has almost the exact same rhythm, patterning, spacing etc, this is specifically where it loses to the other entry that has a really cool differentiation between these two sections

Im not a fan of the guitar keysounding as it overpowers the song with a worse sounding guitar than the song instead of being additive. Overall while i think this map is very consistent and well mapped, it has an issue with every part feeling too similar as the whole map feels like it has the same snaking feel with spacing outside of the slow sections and the kiai, it would have been nice to have more distinct sections. With that being said this map has a very high level of expertise overall and the kiai exemplifies that, i especially like how impactful the 1/4 sliders feels as it breaks the conventions of the rest of the map, i just wish that this map had a bit more variety outside of the kiai

Red anchor abuse is too overwhelming turning the structure into a convulted mass of information. I understand the logic behind using red anchor-based sliders on a metal song but it goes long for a song that is almost 3 minutes, it grows boring very quickly. The highlights of the map are nothing more than a slightly more standout red anchor sliders too.

I'm dissapointed with both entries. Anime ruins the vibe even if it's bocchi the rock but putting that aside, this map focuses heavily on keeping a style but it doesn't help with this song. There are parts where the ideas are way clearer than their opponent's but there's an underwhelming difficulty that seems to be caused by the chosen way of structuring the patterns; like, the song starts very strongly, but it looks like a progressive structure that leads to a less strong section. There's also not much consistency on the main guitar rhythm representation (00:21:060 - ) with rhythm changes such as 00:28:994 - for no particular sustainable reason. I do like the build-ups and the long guitar sections, those do fit very well with th map and probably makes it stand out more than their opponent, but nonetheless I want to see something different coming out of this team on next round if they do pass.

This team appears to have mistaken complexity for depth. No points off at all for the red anchor spam idea - it doesn't really take away from the map, and it's executed consistently - but I really don't get what it's adding. Map's patterning is well-executed and fairly consistent, but there's not a whole lot for me to say here because there isn't all that much going on.

I got a kick out of the Bocchi the Rock hitsounds, but they do not save this map from the fact that it is just less consistent, less representative, and ultimately weaker than its opposing map on just about every measure. Between this map's inscrutable visual design, diffspikey ending, and adventurous relationship with the idea of consistency, it seems to have tried much harder to feign depth than its opposition, but beneath the veneer, it is equally as shallow and simply executed worse.

Both maps embraced the theme of "chaotic" or "aggressive" slider and pattern designs, whichever way you'd call it. However, Churlish opted into utilizing only red noded sliders, which in my opinion served a lot as a limiting factor. While the map is consistent with its theme and ideas, in big part thanks to the limitation, the map does not seem to diverge much from it. I believe that sections at 1:10-1:24 and 1:27-1:34 are quite strong and use the theming to their advantage well. While unified, I think overall experience is a bit less interesting and well-executed compared to the other entry though.

Acerbic while using mostly quite constricted spacing throughout its patterning in the entire middle section, still manages to make it enjoyable through interesting rhythms, highlight for me being the execution of the buildup at 1:35. The explosiveness 2:07 brings for the main drop, followed by great execution on slidershapes to top it off makes this entry shine more in my opinion, making it my pick

also a slider heavy map with a strong visual style tho it feels simpler due to movement choices and patterning for the most part being more generic, decently executed but sadly the other map to me has a slight edge over this one due to more creative patterning and approach to the song

rather messy visual style but also quite consistent so it feels like controlled chaos, relatvely low spacings and dense rhythms work quite well with it, the hs are cute and a nice touch, song does sound like something bocchi would play xd, think it adds some more personality to the map on top of it already feeling more unique
